A backup plan needs a restoration plan. Identify the systems that matter most, their dependencies and who will lead recovery. Decide how much interruption and data loss the business can tolerate, then use those objectives to scope the design.
Agree a restore test and document its outcome. Record who owns the copies, access permissions and retention schedule. Revisit the plan when important systems change.
